Wow from 24 to 27 inch screen? Dang!

So I am having some issues with my desktop and not happy with Dell.  When they shipped my computer it was shipped with issues and I fought with them.  They did end up replacing the DVD drive but still issues.  Its constantly shutting down on me.  Dell support says I need to upgrade my Windows to Vista (then) or Windows 7 (now).  Here is the thing, NOT happening!  I HAD a laptop with Vista and it was too much, I had nothing but problems with the operating system and clashing with my programs.  Just not happening.  I been talking to hubby about getting the Mac, and went to look at them again and holy molies they have increased their screens from 24″ to 27″.  Dang!  Wow I mean I could sit on the couch across the room and see that sucker.  Here is the thing, I don’t want that big of screen!  The 21.5 would work for me.  I have been trying to save up but if Apple keeps making changes, I will never get the money.   In the meantime I am ready to toss this tower out the window.  Not to mention other programs like the program I use for mail, went and changed and I won’t upgrade that either.  Once I do my own creations for it won’t work anymore, or the stats I paid for!  ARGH what the hell is wrong with keeping something that works AS IS!
