Should allow the use of nicknames!

I think one of the downsides to Facebook is they don’t allow you to use a nickname, but insist on using your real name. Now as you set up the account, by all means you need to use your information, just like with any account, but so many of the game apps require you to have a certain number of friends, or friends to continue to “grow”. With my son this proposes a problem. He had an issue with another person already stalking him from his school. Settings are set that he isn’t search-able and what not but when you on other peoples friends list, then they can find ya! They should allow for privacy issues such as this, the use of nicknames. Until he is 18 we won’t allow him to post his picture for his avatar. Why? Seriously what is the point. I could post a picture of well okay Trace Adkins and use his name does that mean that is truly who I am? No! Then there are those if your profile is not search-able or you choose to use a picture of say a kitty or a puppy refuse to add you because they think your some weird-o! Is there a balance somewhere? This totally upset my son last night. He isn’t a weird-o we just choose to have some privacy. He isn’t on there for social dating and such, just to simply play games. They should allow the use of nicknames! Just one parents opinion.
