Parenting….

Sometimes being a parent just isn’t easy.  Especially with teens.  I am beginning to think it was much easier when they were smaller, even when babies.  But teens are like a mood ring that changes colors all the time and you just never know what the color is going to be for the day.

My son is really trying my patience as of late.  He has not been turning his school work in or taking chapter tests at the end.  I have to log his hours each Friday and I ALWAYS check the progress page to see due dates to see if something is due, if he completed it and turned it in.  He tells me he does when I ask, I log the hours and didn’t think twice about it since it take the teachers sometimes weeks to enter the grades.  But I happen to check his sent folder in his account with the school and he didn’t.

For those who are new to my blog and don’t know me very well, my son goes to public school from home over the computer.  I really think this is a great program and opportunity for any student.   Especially for my son with him being AdHd.
