What a long day

Today was just a long day, and its late and you think I be ready for bed! Everyone finally went to bed. My daughter and hubby work in the morning and I like to stay up a little later on Fridays just so I can have a little quiet time to myself. Our printer on the wireless end of things decided to crap out, of course ironically its out of warranty to boot. Just something hubby had to have so he didn’t need to use my computer to print something, he wanted to be able to print from his chair off his laptop. Now he can’t do that anymore and isn’t happy about that. The cord came that I ordered for the laptop that just died that my dad uses, two weeks ago is when it quit and after messing around and some web searching I took a shot and sure enough the box of the power cord went! So I spent about five hours reformatting the laptop and getting it all set up for him. I am just exhausted. I tell you what with all the stress that I have had, I am going to have to get me some wrinkle serum soon. Seriously, I am only forty years old, I should NOT be seeing any wrinkles! I know the stress of things around here is finally taking hold. Oh my goodness I can hear my hubby snoring from all the way down the hall. It could be a long night for me!
His shoulder is bothering him
I notice more and more my dad keeps rubbing his left shoulder. I know the paint is bother him more and more. When he goes in for his shot every other week I remind him to tell the nurse about the pain, but then when he comes home I ask if he told the nurse and he said well it didn’t hurt them. Well of course not because the man takes two Vicodin when he gets out of bed. However, during the day if he intents on being behind the wheel of the car, he can’t have those. I don’t think Tylenol is cutting is so I been looking for other joint pain remedies he can try. Maybe a cream he can rub into his shoulder? He takes so much prescription medication I hate for them to add another one to the mix. I often wonder if that isn’t the problem with him lately. Of course the doctors will argue it, he needs the medication I just have to deal with it. That is why I am on medication for my nerves.
New feature coming for the Wii, yes!

I see a new feature is coming soon for the Wii! The ability to stream movies, television shows and such through withe NetFlix. Hubby and I have been considering NetFlix but I really love to have the instant access to stuff too, especially since they hog the television all the time. So you know I will be keeping my eye out for that, then I can just pay the lower amount, hubby can have the one DVD at a time and I get unlimited streaming ha ha. Speaking of hubby, he is going to try a diet pill with ephedra that one of his co workers is taking. He sent a few home with him and after his bath tonight has been checking it out online. I was going to make them a pan of brownies tonight but thought perhaps this wasn’t the best time to do that.
My dad tried to walk off with my issue of Country Weekly I am in the middle of reading! I told him he can read the previous issue until I am finished with this one. Hey let me enjoy the articles, as I am still catching up on Trace and Toby!

I got that issue of Country Weekly I hoped I find that has an exclusive article on Toby Keith and Trace Adkins and says Double Trouble! Na! I don’t think they are double trouble but they have a new partnership now and I just think its totally awesome! I love the cover you got Toby smiling showing those pearly white and Trace with that all tough serious look! Cracks me up! Definitely one for my collection which means I will be putting it away for safe keeping. I got to tell you seeing them in concert was something else! Toby’s fans they are some serious get down and party type! Man the place was packed when he took the stage! Never ever will forget it. My friends tease me because I say Trace is my yummy and the best fat burner, you know the “Adkins diet”! Ha! Ha! Gotta love it. My hubby he just shakes he head, he knows he is the keeper of my heart. But he teases me with a few country gals he likes. That is okay! I can handle it! Cause I know he isn’t going anywhere! What is even more funny is the fact he goes to CMT.com all the time now watching Trace’s videos!

So my daughter and my son got into it last night. My daughter can be a pistol and is always calling my son a donkey but not in a nice way, and a point and time is going to come where he is going to be smarty pants. She was talking to me about a friend of hers from school she got back in touch with and he was in the kitchen and kind of listening in, and she is talking about her having a baby and asking me what the best prenatal vitamins would be for her to take and my son jumps up and says why are you pregnant? The look on her face! Priceless! He said wouldn’t surprise me! My mouth about hit the floor! She was so mad. All I could is laugh. Of course I had a talk with him and told him that wasn’t nice and all that good stuff, but you know she has been a pistol with him lately, and well what can I say, its what brothers do!
My son has to do a report

I over heard my son telling his sister (nosy mom that I am) that he has to do a report on the topic of philanthropy and is thinking of including richard willich in his report. He heard this past week that he and a company he is associated making a very large donation to an elementary school that included computer equipment. Being its the last semester it seems to be dragging out for him you know? With graduation coming up in June. I think for me its flying by too fast, as he is my last born and my baby is growing up and graduating and this mom is having to deal with those mixed emotions, and to him is going by too slow, hurry up I wanna be done, graduate and move on with my life!
Things here at home certainly are going to change, and its going to be a drastic change for me, since has been attending a charter school since 9th grade and going to school over the Internet. He has always been here, not leaving every day to a building. So this is a huge change not only for me, but for him too!
He is totally like a child
My father, who lives with us, is totally acting like a child right now, one whom I can’t discipline and wish I could sometimes, I really do. Long story short his laptop is fried and he has nothing to play POGO on. He is sighing, just throws himself into his chair and pouts when he is home. Its just more than my patience can take. He has to sacrifice this time around. Hubby and I are not. This makes in ten years four computers he has went through. He can’t NOT eat and play on them, he won’t let the system update when it needs, including the anti-virus protection program. Just no patience. What does he expect? Well now he will have to save up for one. I am not doing anymore than what I do now. Why should I have to give something else up? I do enough and then some. He is seriously playing the guilt card when hubby is at work. My kids are home during the day and see it. He can not spend gas money for two weeks and that would buy him a netbook or a used laptop right there! So he can’t cut back? ARGH
