News not so shocking but still pisses me off!!

Google has really been going around and doing a number on page ranking with a lot of blog’s. This is a message that was posted at one of the companies I work for:
There have been some recent changes that Google have made with regard to sponsored postings. Google has primarily targeted PayPerPost member blogs and reduced their Page ranks across the board. Although this WILL NOT REDUCE your rankings or readership, your blog will receive more campaign offers if it has a higher page rank. To prevent any future loss of page rank due to this issue you can take the following steps:
1. Remove all sponsored post tags on each of your posts. Google can follow these tags to determine if you are being paid for posts.
2.Remove any PayPerPost tags on your posts for “hire me” and “review me”. Any general affiliate banners are fine to keep.
So I spent HOURS going through all my paid posting to sift and sort and look for these hire me and review me tags. I removed their banners from my site. I am gravely disappointed and can’t help to feel some how used by paid per post. At this point and time I am unsure if I will do any work for them from this blog. Not to mention that I have been in que since October 27th, 2007 in asking a question regarding page ranking and now I am 466 in que for a new question as I want a response from them from the information above.
I recommended them to others as it is a great way to make money. But something inside me can’t totally blame PayPerPost as much as Google blatantly targeting them!! I still think they are pissy at the fact that there are other means of advertising for companies that are a bit more affordable than AdWords, but perhaps I am wrong. It could be the fact that IZEA is coming up with their own ranking system for bloggers and that’s cutting in on their territory. But to retaliate against the bloggers for trying to earn a little income to help make ends me, I don’t care if I am blogging or working for a newspaper as a sales person selling ad space, what the hell is the difference?
PayPerPost has been in “beta” for quite sometime so perhaps we are all in the middle of the testing phase. But our blogging and getting paid for sponsored posting should have no effect on our page ranking when clearly sponsored posting isn’t even close to 30% of all posting done.
So tell me Google, why are you not going after those who sell and make a profit from your free blogs? If you would take the time and search the zillions of blogs you have, you would find many are taking advantage of you!! Perhaps those are the bloggers you need to target and leave the rest of us alone!!!

I could not possibly agree with you more!! I am so sick of Google pushing around us bloggers… I would love nothing more then to call the CEO and tell him to SHOVE IT!!
