Have you seen the Sony eReader? Its Sony’s version of a book reader like Amazon’s Kindle? I seen it at Walmart Supercenter and I have to tell you, I wasn’t impressed. For 300 bucks, it only holds up to 160 books verses Kindles for 360 bucks that holds 1500 books! That is a huge difference don’t you think? Wow! I was literally shocked when I was checking it out, at first oooing and aaahing until I listened to the display and read about it. No way man. I don’t think its worth 300 dollars. You have to buy memory sticks to add more memory to store more books. I don’t think I like that idea. My son was asking for one as a graduation gift next year, and that is what sparked hubby and I to look at them. We thought maybe he could save his money to chose which one he want, he asked me what I thought and I said I go with Kindle, but I really don’t now much more than what I have read about them. But when I put the Sony one next to the Kindle one, 160 books verses 1500 books, oh I dunno I think I go Kindle. But he have to make that choice!
I think the book readers like this is a great way of going green personally speaking!! I mean think of the trees your saving from not having to print so many books!!

I bought the Sony eReader for $300.00 and am happy with it. Why would you need to store 1500 books on it anyways? I don’t know how the kindle works, but with the Sony, all my books are stored on my laptop, and I have only the books I am currently reading on the eReader. Once I finish reading, I can delete the book from the Reader, and still have it in it’s entirety on my laptop in case i want to read it again at a later date. The only thing my Sony doesn’t have that the kindle 2 has is internet capability. I already have so many electronic gadgets that access the internet – I really didn’t need another. The Sony eReader can also function as a pdf viewer and an MP3 player.
