Downside to my Sims 2 CD's

There is a downside to having the complete set of the Sims 2 game, including all expansion packs and add on stuff CDs..they are only PC edition, not MAC.  This is a huge downside.  I would love to be able to install and play my Sims 2 game onto my MAC without having to repurchase them in the MAC CDs.  So that leaves me to wonder why could they not sell this as a PC/MAC DVD like other games?  I also notice at a lot of stores here, its very hard to find MAC compatible games, even though, they do exist!!

So why do stores seem to only cater to PC users when it comes to software’s, and MAC users either have to travel to an Apple store or buy online?  There are millions of us Mac users out there and for many stores, that could sales which would equal to profits!!

I still hope to one day have an I-MAC to replace my PC….. just very discouraging to want to escape with my macbook and play my Sims game and I can’t!!
