Do you have a favorite brand?

Do you have favorite brand of laptops?  My first laptop was a HP laptop and of course had windows xp.  But hubby got me a pink Sony Vaio Laptop for my birthday last year, which has Vista and if you have read previous entries I have just the dickens of a time with it.  I ended up reformatting it and undoing what ever it was the Geek Squad at Best Buy did and it runs like a gem now.  I even have admin access now which I did not have before and was a huge pain when trying to install programs.  But I have to say compared to the HP Laptop I really do love the Sony Vaio laptop.  I love it even more had it had XP but that water under the bridge.  A donation was made to the Breast Cancer Foundation from the purchase of it so its all good. I love having the portability and not having to be tied down to my desktop all the time.  Do you have a favorite brand?
