Dad would like to go see family

My dad would like to go back to Pennsylvania, to visit his sisters and nephews but with his health the way it is, I just don’t know how we could do it.  I know that is no way he could go alone and not really loving the idea of putting him on a bus alone either.  When my Aunt, who lives near is was going to back home to visit she didn’t want to take him with her, I guess she didn’t want the responsibility.  I even offered to prepare a travel emergency file for him, that would have everything in it, his medications of course would be with him, but all the papers that would be needed plus my emergency contact information, but she wasn’t comfortable with it.  Hubby isn’t comfortable with my taking my dad back home either.  So I am at a crossroads of sorts of I don’t know what to do.  I thought about  maybe for his birthday this year inviting them all up this way to celebrate and maybe have a little family reunion, rent the community center like we have for my sons graduation party and make some arrangements for hotel stays if possible, but I don’t know about that either.  He is waiting for his tractor pull schedule to come has he is already planning on not missing any.  He already told me he may NOT be here for my son’s graduation party and that isn’t even reserved until July 17th!!
