Could it be my shoes?

I have had the worst pain in my left foot, after I have been out and out shopping, going for a walk or just doing yard word.  It is the most horrible foot pain.  I am wondering if it could be my shoes.  I have tried different styles.  I really like wearing clogs and I am looking for some comfortable ones.  So I am letting my fingers do the keying and checking around online.  I came across some really cute Dansko shoes and they certainly look very comfortable.  My birthday is coming up so I am going to see if I get any money, and if I do I am going to order me a pair of the clogs that I can just slide my feet in and out of.  With winter coming I gotta find something.

Oh to get away!

With the cooler days and evenings, and the leaves changing colors, it’s a sign of whats to come.  Autumn time brings the pretty colors and my favorite season color wise!  It’s an artist color palette for sure! Then comes the dreaded winter.  I so miss the warmth of the sunshine during that time.  I don’t get out much and it makes being home bound feel even worse.  So a few gals has asked if you could take a vacation where would you want to go.  Oh you know I been checking out Vegas vacations!  I would love to meet up with all my friends for a girls get away and sport one of those T-shirts when I come home, you know the one with the saying what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas?    Right now I really could use a vacation!!

Baby Shower Boom!

Wow, is there something in the water right now or what?  I have been invited to several baby showers and I am like wow, the next baby booming generation or what?  Even my daughter’s best friend found out she is pregnant.  Of course I am such a sucker for babies.  I just love them!  I miss the fact I was unable to have anymore children due to serious health issues.  I know I am really looking forward to being a grandma.  So for my niece and her family hubby and I have been looking at the Bugaboo stroller.  I really like the design and how it looks and surely one that would last a very long time and one that could be passed on to generation after generation.  I know this is one my daughter wants, when that day comes and she is married and off building her family!  Hey a mom can hold out for this in today’s time no?

Good hygiene habits are important.

Good hygiene habits are important and something that parents teach their children as they grow up.  My stepson’s mom well was a little too relaxed in my opinion in this area.  He would slack off in taking showers, but never when he was at our house on days he was to come over.  It was an every night thing.  But at her home its not.  He will soon be 21 and still has some habits that seriously need broken.  I mean he runs around in work clothes all the time.  That is a bit on the lazy side if you ask me and he still lives at his moms and yet she doesn’t get on him for it?  That so ticks me off.    His poor complexion, with the acne and seriously needs to try some blackhead treatmentt products.  Now that my son is 16, he is trying to get away with not taking a shower and I am not having it!!  Good hygiene at this stage of life is important, especially with hormonal changes.  I don’t want him getting lazy in this area.  As matter of fact, that reminds me, he needs a haircut!
