Manic Monday #1

If you could take more control of one aspect of your life, what would it be?

Having a car!  I am so tired of not having a car so I could just get in it and go anywhere, even if just to the library!

If you were to name the difference between the male soul and the female soul, what would it be?

If you had to admit the most selfish thing you do on a regular basis, what would you say it is?

Wow…most selfish thing I do on a regular basis?  Buy myself  Iced Tea with Lemon in it.

I love to go back to Orlando

My hubby asked me last night if I would want to go to Florida and where in Florida I would want to go.  You know I would love to go back to Orlando!  Wow I have not been there since my Navy days!  That was back in 1988, I went to Boot camp there, took apprenticeship training, then headed off to Chicago for Corpsman training and then stationed in Pensacola!  I love to sit and go through my box of memories and remember those times.  Hubby has been checking out Orlando vacations to see what kind of deal we can get.  Our daughter works for a large national hotel chain and we get to use a family discount through here so we would definitely be able to afford to go!  I love to go back to Disney World!  Once I graduated boot camp and we passed with honors let me tell you, it would of made a great commercial like they do with the Superbowl winners!!  I love to go back and show my kids where I was stationed, received training and where I ate for the first time at an Olive Garden!!

Physical Education was challenging

While I am on the subject of my son, now he attends a charter school online.  Now the most challenging part of this program was his physical education class last school year.  But we found creative ways to meet the requirements for the activity such as bike riding, playing football and basketball with the neighborhood kids, nature hiking, and running.  I even bought him a Tae Bo CD for in the winter months.  He had to do a report about legal steroids and how those are abused by folks.  We got a letter in the mail and my son’s report was featured on the school website and he was just so proud.  I took a screenshot and printed it to put into his keepsake box.  He was very proud and he did a great job on his report.

Not a golfer but

When there was a death in the family, a set of these Callaway irons were left to my hubby and he isn’t really much of a golfer, but he said he really loves how they look.  I never realized how much others on his side of the family really enjoyed playing golf.  I have always wanted to go golfing only so I can drive a golf cart around.  Can you vision it now?  OH I can just like a scene in a movie where they are just driving like they are insane and running over things.  My hubby says he is worried that the only reason I want to go is so I can drive the cart and chase and run over things.  Crazy Woman Look Out!
