That is one phat cat!!

Holy molies I was just reading online about this cat who weighs 44 pounds!  OH wow!!  That is one phat cat, holy molies!!  The owner of this poor little kitty has until the end of the week to come and claim her.  Let me tell you if I lived in New Jersey, even though I am not the owner, I would of gone in a heart beat to get that poor little thing.  Can you imagine the stress this had to be doing to her little heart?  Its so very sad.

The president signed the housing bill

President Bush as signed the housing bill to provide relief to the housing market.  Now I have very mixed emotions about this.

For example I read online yesterday that someone who was so lucky be chosen to have their house made over with the show Extreme Makeover Home Edition, could take a loan out and end up in foreclosure?  You know what SHAME on them!  After all that hard work that everyone volunteered to do, to take a loan out for $450,000 to open a business they claim went under?  I just can not believe it.  It is so very sad.  If you have to relocate due to losing a job to get a new job and you had to sell the house is one thing, but that just blows my mind.  It makes me very angry.

Now I honestly have to sit and ask myself why folks would put themselves in the position in buying a house they can not afford in the first place?  This I do not understand at all.  When my hubby and I went from renting to buying a house two years ago, we know what we could afford and could not afford and stayed within our means.  We thought about it “down the road”.  Folks who took those sub prime rates didn’t.  What about the loan companies?  You seriously think they didn’t know what they were doing?

It is really a shame.  There are many families out there who struggle to make ends meet simply because of the cost of living expense that have gone up, that choose between a mortgage payment or food, that need this help and you know what, they are NOT the ones who will benefit from it, no its going to be those who foolishly bought a $350,000 plus house knowingly after a few years they would not afford it and thought they could just flip it and sell it.

Want to make her blush?

If you want a great way to make your son or daughter blush around their boyfriends, all you have to do is just mention the word lingerie.  I kid you not.  We are getting ready to leave for hubby’s family reunion.  My daughters boyfriend is coming with us this year.  Now my hubby’s niece’s crack me up and always teasing her to make her blush and smile.  So of course being the mom that I am, I am so doing a “check” to make sure we are all properly clothed and I cracked a joke about not hiding any lingerie in her bag with her swim suit and her boyfriend just blushed.  That totally cracked me up and being my mind can be forgetful about some things, I had to dash in here and blog about it so I can remember for “future” things, say like if they get married like they do talk about and having to buy a little something for their wedding night, oh you know what I am going to do without even saying it.  Priceless moments that will make her blush!!

Paparazzi

I have to tell you with idiots like the Paparazzi out there, I personally would never EVER want to be a star, whether on television, a musician, or famous in general period!  Could you imagine walking in their shoes?  No thank you.  What is the matter with having human compassion and understanding?  It’s not a wonder why so many that are constantly in the spotlight have issues with depression, taking drugs, alcohol and other issues.  Could you imagine walking in their shoes for just one day?  No I would not want that at all.

My husband watches the news each night during dinner and you know I just can’t stand to listen to it anymore.  What really should in our world today is just simply brushed under a rug.  We get what the media wants to print, or put on our televisions screen.  People literally dig through others garbage looking too see if they are behind on a bill so they can get money from a tabloid.

Gossip I want no part of it.  Anywhere.  I think its time for America to revert back to a day and time where life was simple.  Let those who provide us with entertainment the same privacy that you get at home.  I mean imagine yourself in their shoes.  If you went in for treatment for depression would you want it put in print for all to see?

This is why Brittany Spears and so many others out there are so messed up.  How sad its it when a star who makes us laugh and forget our worries in this world, commits suicide.  What does that tell you?
