Box spring and cats don’t mix!

Box springs and cats just do not mix.  Our cats are constantly scratching and chewing the  underside of the box springs of the beds, or chewing the little fibers then hacking it up later.  We are so much in need of a new bed.  My husband and I have been looking at platform beds.   Until we can afford to get us a platform bed, I took an old sheet and made a new cover for the underside and stapled it on with a staple gun.  I hope this will keep those cats from trying to tear it up, or take them much longer while we save for our new bed.  But you should see the kids beds underneath.  I guess I am going to have to take an old sheet or two and do the same in their rooms too!!  I would not fret over it if we did not have cats as no one can see that, but I am so afraid the cats will crawl up inside of the box spring and get hurt or stuck and that would really crush my heart! 

Adobe launches Photoshop Express

Adobe has launched a free version of their program online called Photoshop Express. Those of you who are already seasoned Photoshop users, will find that the online version has it’s limits. For those of you who are just looking to crop, rotate, tweak or twirl and have a gallery to show off your photos on your blogs will find it find it very useful. They are giving you 2GB of space to upload your photos, tweak them, then show them off to the world. Once you have signed up for an account, your set to go and use the program, there is even a full screen mode! I personally have signed up for an account and looking forward to exploring and playing some more!

Annoyed with the spam?

I have to tell you I am really annoyed with all those attempted spam comments.  Each and every one is related to some type of drug!  This really goes give a whole new meaning to what one can do or get from the Internet.  For example, a person who has an addiction to pain medication, instead of finding a drug rehab, which is what they need, they find ways to get the medication without seeing a doctor.  The government really needs to regulate and ban that online and seriously how can you trust that what you are ordering is not laced with something?  Folks that come online should come online to find help to fight the addiction, not feed it!

What kind of sick person puts baby in

What kind of sick person puts a baby in a microwave?  OMG!  I am so angry and sad right now that I could spit nails.  I thought I was hearing things while my father who lives with us was watching the news this afternoon.  This man put his 2-month old daughter in a microwave and turned it on for 10 to 20 seconds. Can you imagine? How sick and demented is that? I am literally sick to my stomach and in tears, this is just so very sad. Naturally he is playing the insanity card! This poor child, I feel so very sad for her. Think about this, during that 10 to 20 seconds this child suffered second and third degree burns to her ear, cheek, hand and shoulder and part of her ear had to be amputated. It is just so very sad indeed. She is currently in foster care and a trial is scheduled in April for terminating parental rights! I tell you what, don’t waste the tax dollars, that should of already been a done deal in my book!
