Finally, I been watching our mailbox like a kid awaits a present from Santa Claus at Christmas time! My comic books that I ordered, issues 1-4 (the entire series) based on Trace Adkins as the main character, arrived yesterday! I peek through to see if I lucked out and see if any of them were signed by Trace, but I wasn’t lucky darn it! OH man that would of been something else to have! I am going to take a picture of them to scrap of course, then we are going to get something firm like plastic and seal them up to preserve them! I am so excited! My dad who lives with us is upset I won’t let him hold them LOL. Well I don’t want the pages all bent up. You should see my poor magazines once he has one. Ack!

My soon, bless his heart, with only have three classes this semester, trying to log 25 hours a week has been tough. Free reading and when he works out and bowls with hubby counts thanks gosh. Just come to think of it I forgot to log his hours last Friday but remembered today! Too much on my hands sometimes. Well he got an email from his advisor and he signed up for some extra classes that focus on sat prep and I am just excited. He talks more and more about wanting to go to college! That makes me so excited on the inside. I wish my ex would of paid child support the past fifteen years! He owes me over $140,000!! If he would of paid, both my kids could of went to college! You know they think they are hurting us the ex spouse, but when in reality it is only hurting the child growing involved.

I saved up the money and I ordered all four issues of the comic book series Luke McBain! For those who may not know, this series main character was based on Trace Adkins! I watch my mail box like you would not believe! Being the fan I am, it just something I wanted to have. Hubby is talking about shrink wrapping them to preserve them, and I was hoping to maybe look through them and he said but I have to be careful not to put any creases in the pages. He cracks me up! I am so looking forward to T-shirt weather again so I can wear my Trace shirt!!

This year, we didn’t make to the annual home and garden show, and I told hubby I really wanted to go this year. With being a one car family and my daughter depending on us for transportation, it feels we miss out on a lot, not to mention all this snow we had this year. Crazy! I seen some pictures from the show and wow I seen the most beautiful set up, with a stone sink and gorgeous flowers and cabinetry. It reminds me of the dream home they do with the YMCA every year. I wonder where it will be this year in our area. Hubby and I try and get a ticket and walk through and dream. Last years was pretty but honestly it wasn’t my style. I am a country girl at heart but I could of handled that master bathroom though. Oh yeah!

This is one of my favorite video’s with Bon Jovi and Sugarland. Unfortunately all I can do is link to the video and not embed here at the blog for my visitors to watch from CMT.com, so go enjoy! If I could go back to certain moments in my life, I would! So enjoy the link and video to Who says you can’t go home!
I have a very special friend and I know she is very homesick and when I listen to this song it just makes me think of her!

Have you seen this video by Alan Jackson, I still like bologna? OH my goodness this is just too adorable with all the cute little kids in it. I was laughing so hard watching it. I mean its just too cute and exactly what adults do is it not or what LOL
No wonder I went to through so many taters
My daughter and son were just having a conversation about bruised fruits and vegetables while talking in the kitchen and now I know why I go through so many potatoes. ACK! My daughter resentfully so, when requested will peel them for me but if he finds one with a bad spot she just tosses it. What about the rest of it? I mean when I peel them I just cut away the bruises and bad spot, but the rest of the potato is still good. She is now going ew, that is gross? Is it really? Funny its how I always done it and everyone is still alive! Do you think factories that make those pre-cut french fries, those machines even cut away the bruising part? Err no! Same with apples, just because an apple has a bruise doesn’t mean its a bad apple! Sometimes I wonder, if she does this on purpose to get out of peeling potatoes. I am so looking forward to when its me and the hubby! Ack!
